Shaoguan Iron & Steel Songshan to produce 7 million tons of steel in 2019

Shaoguan Iron & Steel Songshan Co., Ltd. announced its annual report for 2018 on the evening of March 28. According to the report, the company achieved an operating income of 27.112 billion yuan last year, up by 7.95% YOY. The net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company reached 3.306 billion yuan, up by 28.20% YOY.
The company produced 6.61 million tons of steel and 6.18 million tons of steel products in 2018, down by 3.89% and 2.46% YOY respectively.
The company plans to produce 7 million tons of steel and 6.75 million tons of steel products in 2019, including 5.44 million tons of carbon steel, 460,000t of industrial wire rod and 850,000t of special round bar.
