Chongqing Hailiang Copper's first production line in full operation

On March 8, Chongqing Hailiang Copper Co., Ltd. ("Hailiang Copper") saw the successful run of its horizontal continuous casting machine, which marks the full operation of the company's first production line. This also means a new phase of Southwest production base project ("the project") developed by Zhejiang Hailiang Co., Ltd. ("Zhejiang Hailiang").
Located in Jiangjin Luohuang Industrial Park, Hailiang Copper is a production base set up by Zhejiang Hailiang based on its global development strategy. The production base will mainly produce AC-refrigeration copper tube, thermal insulation tube and electrical grade copper bar.
The project, with construction commencing in May 2018, is the tenth production base set up by the company. Among the other nine production bases, six are located in China, with the rest three in Vietnam, Thailand and the United States respectively.
