China's steel exports down by 6.9% YOY in Feb

According to the data recently released by General Administration of Customs, China exported 4,512,000t of steel in February, down by 335,000t or 6.9% from the same period last year and by 1,676,000t or 27.1% from last month.
China imported 819,000t of steel in February, down by 208,000t or 20.3% from the same period last year and by 360,000t or 30.5% from last month.
China exported 10,700,000t of steel from January to February 2019, up by 12.9% YOY. It imported 1,998,000t of the material during the same period of time, down by 9.9% YOY.
