1 Market Highlights
Affected by production restriction in Henan, Hebei and Shandong, the operating rate of aluminum ingot industry was low. In January, prebaked anode prices decreased by about RMB200/t (USD29.52/t), while pet coke and calcined pet coke prices also moved down due to weak demand. Graphite electrode prices continued to decrease this month as steel plants didn't resume production.
