According to the latest data released by the General Administration of Customs, China exported 298t of steel scrap in December 2018, down by 99.8% YOY. The total exports of the material reached 332,343t in 2018, down by 85.2% YOY.
In December 2018, China imported 120,000t of scrap steel, down by 49.6% YOY. It imported 1.34 million tons of the material annually, down by 42.2% YOY.
