OTIC obtains approval for GJB on tantalum-tungsten/niobium-tungsten alloy

Recently, Central Military Commission approved and issued 61 GJB on nonferrous metal materials, effective from 1 March, 2019, including three made by Ningxia Orient Tantalum Industry Co. Ltd. (OTIC), i.e. Standards on Niobium-tungsten Alloy (NbW5-1) High-temperature Oxidation Resistant Coatings for Aerospace (GJB9568-2018), Standards on TaW10 Alloy High-temperature Oxidation Resistant Coatings for Airspace Engines (GJB9573-2018) and Standards on TaW10 Alloy Bar for Aerospace (GJB8752-2018).
