On Dec 12, Guangxi Guigang Iron and Steel Group held a completion ceremony for Guigang Special Steel's 120-ton electric furnace project, marking the successful completion of the group's 3-million-ton capacity target.
It is reported that Guigang Special Steel 's 120-ton electric furnace project has a total investment of RMB1.2 billion and an annual capacity of 1.5 million tons of steel. It is mainly equipped with a 120-ton ultra-high-power AC electric arc furnace, a 120-ton LF refining furnace, and a continuous casting machine, and a bar production line with an annual capacity of 1.2 million tons.
