1. Market Highlights
CRC and HGI coil prices in Chinese leading markets kept falling down this month due to the bad market transaction. Steel mills such as Ansteel and HBIS held list prices stable for November production but lowered their concluded prices for October production to attract orders from traders. However, traders were short of confidence in the coming market seeing downstream consumers purchase with small quantities according to their urgent needs.
In the international market, prices in Asian countries such as Vietnam fell back influenced by the lower export offers from China.
As the supply will not be reduced sharply while the demand will remain very weak in November, insiders predict that prices of CRC and HGI coil are likely to continue on the downward trend in the coming month.
