Baosteel held a performance meeting for Q3 online on October 29th and stated that as the second largest strategic product, silicon steel has long been its main battlefield of deep cultivation and independent innovation. After Baosteel and Wuhan Iron and Steel reorganized as a whole, Baosteel has become the largest oriented silicon steel producer in the world. On the one hand, with the production line of new oriented silicon steel being put into production, Baosteel will strategically enter into the field of high-end power distribution transformer; on the other hand, Baosteel also adjusted the production structure of silicon steel, cut some of the old production lines and eliminated some backward production capacity.
