MIIT conducts special inspection on RE industry

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China (MIIT) released on October 30 that special inspection on rare earth (RE) industry will be carried out from October 30 to November 30 in order to promote the rectification and standardization of RE industry.
1. Scope of inspection
Inner Mongolia, Jiangsu, Fujian, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi and Sichuan.
2. Key points of inspection
(1) Implementation progress of arrangement of rectification work;
(2) RE companies' implementation progress of policy;
(3) Investigation progress for reported clues.
3. Arrangement of inspection
(1) Industry associations, experts and news media take part in the inspection.
(2) Conversations on overall introduction of RE industry rectification will be held.
