National crude steel output increased by 6.1% YOY in first three quarters

The National Development and Reform Commission reported on Oct 30 that China's crude steel output reached 699.42 million tons in the first three quarters, up by 6.1% YOY; steel output was 821.01 million tons, up by 7.2% YOY.
In the first three quarters, China exported 53.08 million tons of steel, down by 10.7% YOY. Imports were 9.97 million tons, down by 0.4% YOY.
