Recently, the first batch of large-scale hot-rolled H-beam steel for the Yosemite Project in the US was successfully developed and produced in mass production at Structural Steel Plant of Shandong Iron and Steel Company Limited, Laiwu Company. After inspection, indicators of the product all meet the technical requirements of the customer, marking the hot-rolled steel products of Shandong Iron & Steel break into the world's largest oil and gas company, Exxon Mobil.
It is reported that Yosemite Project is located in San Patricio, along the US coast of Mexico, which is a petroleum refinery plant invested and built by Exxon Mobil Corp. The H-beam steel of the project is based on American standards and is subject to numerous demanding technical requirements. The successful trial production of this product has further broadened the application range of Shandong Iron & Steel's structural steel products and greatly enhanced the brand effect of Shandong Iron & Steel's ocean engineering structural steel.
