In September, both domestic and international vanadium markets saw sharp price increase, and supply shortages are the hottest topic at present. Vanadium prices in the Chinese market continued to soar, which promoted the rise of international vanadium prices. The increase in domestic vanadium price is mainly due to the implementation of the new standard of rebar on November 1. In the expectation of an increase in demand, the market began to see the price rise, while the supply of raw material vanadium pentoxide from suppliers could not meet the downstream demand due to relevant policy. So the demand-supply gap is expanding day by day. Market participants believed the prices would rise with vanadium price repeatedly hitting a record high.
