HBIS succeeds in producing world-leading steel

Recently, HBIS Group Tangsteel succeeded in producing the first reel of 2,000MPa thermal forming automobile steel in the world with its thin slab short process line. As the most strengthened steel that is produced with the technology of thin slat continuous casting and rolling worldwide, the product fills the gap of ultra high-strength steel produced with such technology both in Chinese market and international market.
Thermal forming steel is considered as the most strengthened steel in automobile production now and the 2,000MPa one tops the series in terms of strength. The coming of the new product shows that HBIS Group Tangsteel could also produce 2000MPa thin slat thermal forming steel besides the previous 1500MPa product and is able to produce 1.8mm thin slat on an industrial scale.
