Magang Mining holds launching ceremony of Zhongjiu iron ore project

On 10 September, Magang Mining held the launching ceremony of Zhongjiu iron ore project in Gushan.
Zhongjiu iron mine was originally a national planning mining area of 16 metallurgical and auxiliary raw materials approved by the State Planning Commission and the Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources, and was listed as a reserve mine of Magang. The project is designed by Yantai Gocom Engineering Design Co., Ltd. The annual designed mining and beneficiation capacity is 2 million tons, and the infrastructure construction period is 4 years with the service life of 30 years (excluding the infrastructure construction period). According to the mining technical conditions and occurrence characteristics of the deposit, 55.4094 million tons of ore is designed and utilized. The product is iron concentrate powder only with an annual output of 770,800t.
