Zhuzhou city to build first public cemented carbide inspection center in Hunan province

It's reported that Zhuzhou Cemented Carbide Group Co., Ltd. ("the Company") plans to transform its cemented carbide inspection center into one open to the whole Hunan province or even to the whole country, and the reconstructed center is expected to operate within this year.
As a cemented carbide giant in China, the Company owns a first-rank cemented carbide inspection center. But limited by company management and other rules, this center could not make its service open to the large number of private cemented carbide companies in Zhuzhou.
This June, the Company decided to open its inspection center to the public, and at present is seeking a new site for the center.
Besides moving into a new site, the center also seeks to expand its business areas. With cemented carbide being used into more and more fields, users come out with more requirements on cemented carbide products. So in the future the center will include more inspection contents (such as fatigability and tenacity) into its traditional inspection list (hardness, density, intensity, microstructure and so on.)
Meanwhile, the center also tries hard to take part in formulating cemented carbide industrial standards not only in China but also globally. This September, the center will submit its standard on cemented carbide breaking tenacity to the International Organization for Standardization for approval. If it's approved, this standard will be the first one in the global cemented carbide community.
Next, the center will focus upon research on high-temperature testing and imitation on actual working conditions with a view to developing new industrial standards in these two fields.
