XTC New Energy: Li-ion battery cathode material production line goes into operation

After one year's construction, Sanming XTC New Energy Materials (Xiamen) Co., Ltd. ("XTC New Energy") successfully put into operation the stage-one project of its Li-ion battery cathode material production line on August 16. The whole production line has a designed annual production capacity of 10,000t and the stage-one project has a capacity of 6,000t.
In recent years, the new energy material industry is drawing more and more attention, and demand for Li-battery material becomes strong. Located in Jikou Industrial Park, Sanming city, XTC New Energy decided in early 2017 to invest RMB340 million to build a new 10,000t Li-ion battery cathode material production line, in addition to its existing 7,000t production line.
It is reported that, when the stage-one project goes into production, XTC New Energy is likely to achieve an annual output of over 9,000t and a production value of RMB3 billion. And the remaining 4,000t stage-two project is under construction now, expected to go into production in the first half of 2019.
