1. Market Highlights
Mainstream prices for Chinese bismuth ingot 99.99%min kept the downward trend of previous five months and decreased further by RMB4,000/t (USD583/t) to RMB56,000-58,000/t (USD8,1677-8,459/t) in July with no signs of recovery at the end of the month. Faced with continuously decreasing prices, traders mainly carried out back-to-back trade to avoid risks. During the summer vacation in the European market, suppliers closed rare spot deals, which were mainly less than 10t, except long-term orders.
