On July 24, 2018, the Department of Commerce of US (Commerce) issued its final AD (anti-dumping duty) determination on forged steel fittings imported from Taiwan, China, assigning a final dumping rate of 116
On October 26, 2017, Commerce initiated AD investigations on forged steel fittings imported from China Mainland, Italy and Taiwan, China and CVD (countervailing duty) investigation on forged steel fittings imported from China Mainland in response to the application lodged by Bonney Forge Corporation and the United Steel, Paper and Forestry, Rubber, Manufacturing, Energy, Allied Industrial and Service Workers International Union on October 5, 2017. On November 17, 2017, USITC released positive preliminary AD determinations on forged steel fittings imported from China Mainland, Italy and Taiwan, China, saying that imported of the above products did injury US industries, and affirmative preliminary CVD industrial injury determination on the involved products from China Mainland . On May 14, 2018, Commerce made preliminary AD determinations on forged steel fittings imported from China Mainland, Italy and Taiwan, China . According to US, imports of forged steel fittings from Taiwan, China were valued at about USD18 . 9 million in 2017.
