TNMG Jinwei Copper produces 1,250mm-wide copper plate and strip

On April 23, Jinwei Copper Co., Ltd. ("the company"), a subsidiary of Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group (TNMG), successfully produced red copper strip with width of 1,250mm, breaking the monopoly of the technology that once only mastered by overseas countries and filling in the blank of red copper strip with width of over 1,000mm in China. Since going into production, the company has produced more than 70 tonnes of 1,250mm-wide copper plate and strip.
Currently, the copper strip with thickness of 0.5-3.0mm and width of over 1,000mm that produced by Jinwei Copper sells quite well in overseas market including Europe and American, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Hong Kong & Macao region, with export volume increasing year by year.
