    1. Market Highlights

    During April, prices both in the international and Chinese molybdenum markets moved on with a similar trend, first quickly going up and falling back then, and transactions also picked up notably compared with those in March. With late April approaching, as prices for stainless steel products declined, prices in the Chinese molybdenum market dropped; in particular, price decreases mostly happened in the primary molybdenum product market, while prices for molybdenum chemicals and deep-processed molybdenum products still remained firm as their price fluctuations usually happened later.
