New generation of flexible CIGS PV modules launched in market in bulk

Recently, modern Hanwa, produced based on the new generation of flexible CIGS thin film photovoltaic battery modules, was launched in the market in bulk by Hanenergy Holding Group. It was a combination of modern photovoltaic technology, advanced glass technology and traditional roof tile technology.
Hanwa not only retains the curved surface characteristic of traditional roof tile and spreads Chinese traditional architecture and culture, but also realizes the photovoltaic generation power in the whole life cycle of the building with stronger hardness and durability, improves energy-conservation and environmental protection of the whole society and promotes the harmony between people and nature. It is reported that Hanwa with single glass can cover 0.33 square meters of roof and bear 1.7t of weight and typhoon of 12 forces with only 6.5mm in thickness, 5.2kg in self weight and the conversion efficiency of no lower than 16.5%. If 100 squares meter of roof is equipped with modern Hanwa in Beijing, 12,000 kilowatts of electricity can be generated per year, which means that about 1.5t of standard coal can be saved calculated as electricity equivalent.
The success launch of Hanwa in the market explored a feasible way for traditional building material industry to insist on innovation, graft modern technology, promote the development of green building material and realize transformation and upgrade.
