Building materials industry realized added value of RMB74.415 billion in Hunan in 2017

In 2017, the raw material industry in Hunan has seen the added value of RMB267.597 from enterprises above a designated scale, accounting for 24.71% in the total added value in the whole province and up by 0.45% YOY. In particular, added values in metallurgy, nonferrous metals, petrochemical and building materials industries respectively reached RMB47.601 billion, RMB77.648 billion, RMB67.933 billion and RMB74.415 billion, registering year-on-year increases of 9.8%, -3.5%, 2.1% and -0.1%.
In 2017, the building materials industry in Hunan province achieved the industrial added value of RMB74.415 billion, up by -0.1% YOY and export delivery value of RMB1.883 billion, up by 6.6% YOY. Outputs of main building materials products are: 137,400 sets for daily-use ceramics and 2.2218 million sets for graphite and carbon products, respectively up by 11.5% YOY and 3.2% YOY; 10.014 billion tons for limestone, 411,000t for fluorite, 25.607 million weight boxes for flat glass and 14.106 million tons of sand, recording year-on-year increases of -3.3%, -6.2%, -6.5%, -17.5% and -26.2%.
