On December 21, 2017, Trade Commission of South Korea released positive preliminary anti-dumping (AD) determination on galvanized low carbon steel wires imported from China and decided to levy provisional AD duty of 4
On August 1, 2017, Trade Commission of South Korea claimed that it initiated AD investigation on galvanized low carbon steel wires imported from China. The products involved were under HS code 7217 . 20 . 0000 and 7229 . 90 . 9090 . The dumping investigation period was from January 1 to December 31, 2016, and the injury investigation period was from January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2016 . According to the statistics from South Korea, China's galvanized steel wires accounted for 70% of market shares in South Korea in 2016.
