1. Market Highlights
Chinese silicon metal prices dropped in November. In the domestic market, the prices moved down due to higher-level silicon metal inventory and decrease of downstream demand caused by decline of alumina alloy prices. As for the export market, export prices for silicon metal also dropped accordingly due to downtrend of domestic prices; overseas customers held stronger watchful attitudes than October with stocks in hand, so they had few intentions to purchase this month, leaving sluggish export deals.
