Zhejiang Hailiang sees double increases for operating income and net profit in H1 2017

On the evening of August 25th, Zhejiang Hailiang Co., Ltd. announced the 2017 semi-annual report. According to the report, the company achieved operating revenue of RMB12.18 billion from January to June 2017, up by nearly 64.92% compared with the same period of last year; net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was RMB402 million, up by nearly 36.29% YOY. In H1 2017, the company sold copper products of 254,000t, up by 24.81% YOY.
The company attributed the improving performance to the expanding capacity for their major business based on product quality upgrading and larger market share and meanwhile to the enhanced inner management and significantly increasing cash flow.
As the second largest copper processor in China, they have 7 production bases. The company acquired 3 copper pipe plants from LuwadaGroup and the total capacity of the company will exceed 600,000t.
