  • China Rare Earth Metals (Ganzhou) New Material Research Institution founded

    China Rare Earth Metals (Ganzhou) New Material Research Institution, Ganzhou Rare Earth Metals Industry Technology Research and Development Center of Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter (FJIRSM) under Chinese Academy of Science and Ganzhou Branch of Joint International Research Center on Mass Spectrometry Science and Mass Spectrometer were formally established in high-tech zone of Ganzhou on August 19th, indicating that the construction of Rare Earth Metals Valley of China enters a new phase.

    Relying on advantages of local resources, Ganzhou city has spared no efforts to promote the construction of Rare Earth Metals Valley in recent years and has formed relatively complete industrial system with high-end orientation, clustering and innovative development of industry taking new steps. The formal establishment of above scientific research platforms is of great significance in stimulating collaborative innovation of Government-Industry-University-Research-Application, promoting rapider development as well as upgrading and transferring of industry of Ganzhou city.

    According to Wang Linyun, the deputy secretary of Ganzhou municipal party committee, the establishment of above three platforms opens a new chapter for the construction of Rare Earth Metals Valley of Ganzhou and local government will make good use of these platforms and further strengthen supports in policies, funds in order to offer better services for scientific platforms and innovative talents of science and technology.
