During July, Chinese titanium market was still sluggish. As for upstream raw materials, prices for ilmenite dropped further with still sluggish transactions; prices for high titanium slag and titanium tetrachloride decreased, with transactions for the former decreasing and those for the latter stable; prices for titanium sponge declined sharply and consumers purchased the material from hand to mouth; downstream titanium mill market remained weak with limited spot transactions.
