On July 20, Yingde held a special rectification meeting on crackdown against illegal exploitation of rare earth mine in Donghua town, requiring relevant departments to further crack down illegal mining of rare earth mine, severely punish corrupted people related with the illegal exploitation and maintain strict regulation on the illegal mining.
Zhong Chaoben, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Committee and secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission, reported the attacks on illegal exploitation of rare earth mines since June and made arrangements for the next phase of the work.
