Dongli PV Electronics sees first batch of products from polycrystalline silicon reduction furnaces

The world’s largest polycrystalline silicon reduction furnaces, the extracting and purifying equipment of polycrystalline silicon, which were researched and developed by Wuhan Dongli PV Electronics Co., Ltd., produced the first batch of products in Urad Front Banner Industrial Park, with the capacity of one furnace reaching 12tpy.
In 2015, in virtue of the development opportunity of national industry transformation and upgrading, the company invested RMB3 billion to build polycrystalline silicon production line project in Urad Front Banner Industrial Park. With its years of production and technological experience, the company strove to make technological breakthrough on the smelting equipment of polycrystalline silicon. Finally, one reduction furnace could conduct reduction reaction on 72 pairs of polycrystalline silicon bars, 54 pairs more than originally, which improved the productive efficiency and saved energy as well.
The capacity of one unit of transformed equipment moved up by 40%. What’s more, 9 units of equipment can save 24 million kwh of power per year, valuing RMB10 million. Currently, all of the 9 units of equipment have been put into operation.
