On May 9th, the Chinese Academy of Sciences held 2017 promotion conference of rare earth science and technology achievements in Xiamen
On the conference, more than 20 professional representatives introduced the achievement of rare earth research in different fields, including the application in stainless steel industry, clean production and efficient integrated technology of ion-absorbed rare earth ore, etc. and all these representatives came from FJIRSM, Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry Chinese Academy of Sciences (CIAC), Ningbo Institute of Industrial Technology (CNITECH) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Institute of Metal Research of CAS, Baotou Rare Earth Research Center of CAS and Xiamen Institute of Rare-earth Materials of CAS . Officials from Xaimen Tungsten Co . , Ltd . , Ningde Xingyu Technology Co . , Ltd . , FuJian Yanan Power Group, etc . announced the technical demand on the conference.
The conference collected ten rare earth technical achievements of Chinese Academy of Sciences with six being contracted. Institute of Metal Research of CAS and Xiamen Institute of Rare-earth Materials of CAS signed cooperation agreement with Tsingtuo Group on project of “rare earth in application of stainless steel industry”; Xiamen Institute of Rare-earth Materials of CAS and CIAC signed cooperation agreement with Longyan Rare-earth Development Co . , Ltd . on project of “efficient extraction of kaolin rare earth resources”; Xiamen Institute of Rare-earth Materials of CAS and Changting Jinlong Rare Earth reached cooperation agreement on “comprehensive recycling of high value rare earth”; FJIRSM and Xaimen Tungsten achieved cooperation on project of “development and industrialization of rare earth magnetic material utilized in variable frequency air-condition”; FJIRSM and Changting Jinlong Rare Earth signed contract on project of “development and industrialization of special-shaped magnetic steel utilized in servo motor”; CNITECH of CAS signed agreement with Xaimen Tungsten on project of “high corrosion resistance of surface protection technology magnetic steel for special use of new energy vehicles”.

Hong Maochun, the academician of Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter (FJIRSM) attended the conference and more than 20 professional representatives introduced the achievement of rare earth research in different fields .
