Construction starts on wind and solar power project of 50,000 kilowatts in Siziwang Banner

On April 15th, Inner Mongolia Zhunxing New Energy Investment Co., Ltd. started construction on 50,000 kilowatts-Phase I of wind and solar power project.
The company is invested and established by Hongkong China Resources and Transportation Group Limited, a new energy company of wind power, solar power, new energy project investment and operation management. The company started to get engaged in planning and layout of the large demonstration project of million-kilowatt wind and solar power with total designed capacity of 2 million kilowatts for wind power, 1 million kilowatts for solar power and 200,000 kilowatts for energy storage. RMB2.2 billion of investment was put in Phase I with 200,000 kilowatts for wind power, 50,000 kilowatts for solar power and 20,000 kilowatts for energy storage. 10,000 kilowatts project is planned to get connected to the grid in late June.
