As the Chinese tantalum-niobium markets saw recovering demand in February and domestic smelters successively resumed production with still tight supply in the raw material market, prices continued to move up. Due to sharp rises in import costs for raw material and heavy environmental protection pressure, production costs from smelters will go up further; it is anticipated that prices will continue to rise next month.
