Huafon Aluminum starts 500,000tpy capacity aluminum strip and foil refining project

On 27 February, Huafon Aluminum started its aluminum strip and foil refining project in Fuling Baitao Industrial Park; the project is designed with capacity of 500,000tpy and will produce aluminum strip and foil products by the highest level of technique.
With a total investment of 7 billion yuan, the project covers an area of 2,000 acres; the first phase with capacity of 200,000tpy will achieve an annual value of 4 billion yuan.
Products of the project will be used in the auto manufacture, engineering, power station and air conditioner’s system and can reduce vehicles’ oil consumption and waste emission; which will make great contribution to energy-saving and environmental protection by the feature of light-weight compared with traditional products.
