Chinese stainless steel prices went up obviously during this month mainly supported by higher raw material costs and increase in steel mills’ list prices. However, many customers could not accept the sharp price increase in a short time and preferred to hold a wait-and-see attitude. Therefore, the market sales performance was poor. Insiders do not expect the price to rise further in the coming month.
