Electrical steel prices showed differing trends again in major markets during this month. Low grade non-grain oriented electrical steel prices increased sharply due to higher raw material costs and the tight supply. However, grain oriented electrical steel prices decreased to some extent as a result of the sluggish downstream industries and abundant supply. Insiders believe that electrical steel prices will continue to demonstrate differing trends in September.
