During June, prices for Chinese tungsten started to slip. Heading into the summer break, many domestic and foreign consumers were away from the market on vacation with replenishment delayed, resulting in limited activity in the spot market. Most traders struggled to sell their materials and had to lower their offers further to promote sales. Therefore, prices for tungsten products continued to decline and are not expected to rebound in the coming month.
