In June, Chinese vanadium market demand remained weak and dropping prices could be seen in the spot market. The market was still excessive and buyers had to reduce prices to compete for deals. By the end of June, ferrovanadium 50%min had decreased by 10.71%, and those for vanadium nitride had dropped by 8.19%. As for the vanadium pentoxide flake 98% market, the producers were forced to lower prices due to the falling prices for ferrovanadium and vanadium nitride. Up to the end of June, the prices decreased by RMB5,000/t compared with those of early month.
