Prices of most Chinese stainless steel products saw an upward trend during this month mainly supported by higher raw material costs. However, downstream customers were still struggling amid the gloomy economy and their demand continued to be weak. Traders were not confident of the market outlook and refused to build large stockpiles. Insiders do not believe the price will go up further in the coming month.
