The Chinese vanadium market witnessed a decrease in prices during February. In the first half month, participants left the market for Spring Festival holiday, so few deals could be seen in the spot market. After holiday, as end-users had enough stocks at hand and producers held increased stocks, prices showed downward tendencies. By late February, ferrovanadium 50%min prices had decreased by 7.7%, while those for vanadium nitride had fell by 9.4%. As for the vanadium pentoxide flake 98% market, the prices moved down, and at the end of month, they dropped by RMB5,000/t (USD0.35/lb).
