The above graph shows that secondary aluminum alloy output picked up in January. Firstly, it is the bullish season for downstream auto industry in January and their purchasing volumes for secondary aluminum alloy inched up. Secondly, most secondary aluminum alloy plants will make repairs in the first half of February and they increased the output in order to have more stocks for regular customers during the maintenance period. Besides, the die-casting plants made replenishments actively before the Spring Festival. Therefore, the output for secondary aluminum alloy soared in January.
Guangdong produced about 81,000t of secondary aluminum alloy in January, up by 6.3% MOM due to the active demand from downstream buyers. The province ranks first among other provinces and its output accounts for about 25% of the total output.
