In September, the Chinese cadmium ingot market was still performing weakly and the operating rate stayed at a low level. Demand from the Chinese and overseas markets remained slow, so as a reaction, the price had been decreasing. The spot market was quiet this month. Downstream users entered the market and simply made purchases from hand to mouth. Most participants were pessimistic about future market developments.
