In December, Chinese manganese flake market saw tight spot supply as most producers focused on production for long-term deals, prices were thus on the rise. Pushed by higher manganese flake prices in the domestic market, export price for the material also climbed up. But exporters in South China still reported a lack of deals as foreign buyers expect the prices for Chinese manganese flake to weaken.
