The overall zirconium market was active in June. The zirconium related industries entered the off-season in July, moreover, the demand from overseas market weakened due to the summer vacation, and thus, Chinese zirconium market was slow in July with thin trading. Domestically produced zircon sand price increased slightly in July due to the tight supply or raw material and the decreasing output, while the prices for zirconium oxychloride and zirconium silicate decreased slightly under the weak demand. Chinese zirconium sponge and fused zirconia prices continued to drop in July.
