Into June, Chinese zircon sand became active gradually with the slight recovery of downstream industries. The purchasing activities in the zircon sand, zirconium oxychloride and zirconium silicate markets increased slightly. However, under the overall slow economy, the demand from downstream industries has not increased sharply and did not push up the price. Chinese domestically produced zircon sand price kept largely stable in June and that for imported zircon sand decreased. The markets for fused zirconia and zirconium sponge reamined dull in June with few deals, and the prices went down further.
