The supply of gallium metal 99.99%min was still abundant during May and the mainstream prices continued to slide on weak demand. Though the suppliers tended to hold the price firm in April, it was hard to maintain throughout May, the dropping speed is quite fast this month and decreased by RMB70/kg (USD11.3/kg) to RMB1,100-1,140/kg (USD177-184/kg). Consumers only purchased from hand to mouth to avoid huge stocks in hand.
