Both antimony ingot and antimony trioxide prices decline further in the first half of February. With Chinese Spring Festival holiday coming, many smelters have suspended production and hold back from selling, spot purchase activities decrease. With Chinese Spring Festival holiday over in late February, market insiders have gradually returned back. Spot market keeps relatively quiet and sees few inquiries and deals. Smelters keep low level of operating rate. In export market, overseas buyers continue to put pressure on price and offers for antimony ingot and antimony trioxide decline further. However, purchase activities are quite inactive.
