During this month, prices for welded pipe in China’s major cities showed different trends. Prices in North China increased a little as stripping mills controlled output and overhauled production lines before the Spring Festival. However, prices in South and East China fell because of weak downstream demand. Insiders expect market prices for welded pipe to increasing in the coming month with demand recovering.
