Due to influence of Spring Festival holiday (Feb18th-24th), spot market is relatively quiet through the whole month. In the first half the month, some downstream buyers add stocks and most market participants gradually leave for holiday. Producers report no stocks which are ordered in advance. In late February, few smelters resume production though holiday is over and spot supply is limited. Suppliers who hold back from selling take the chance to increase offer slightly
