The rare earth market remained flat in December. Consumers both from domestic and overseas markets held wait-and-see attitudes. The majority of separation plants have halted production and producers preferred to hold stocks rather than accept price declines. Therefore, the rare earth market saw slow buying activities and relatively stable prices.
